The Harvest Festival had finally arrived. One sleep was left to separate the opening ceremonies from the present, and Michel found himself looking forward to it. Such was a time that most would be happy, thankful, giving of spirit. It was a good time to broker deals and arrangements, too, he felt, for people were more likely to overlook what political barriers they held in lieu of a beneficial result. So at least was his hope, for the annoyance that was politics rather got on her nerves eventually. Especially in such doses as was found in the capital currently.
Among the many faces gathered, he hoped in particular for a chance to meet with one of them. The Crowned Princess herself was the goal of his day, if only she was available for an instance to converse with him. If not, then there would be tomorrow, and the day after, though the young Lord did hope to have luck sooner than later. Not a lazy man in the least, he preferred to have a project to work on, and hoped that perhaps she would place faith in him to carry one out for her.
Just when he thought his luck had run dry, he saw a figure much similar to hers crossing from the palace into its illustrious gardens. While many of the Princesses adopted the same color of hair and general body type - especially as the fashion was similar across the Ladies at Court - Nicolette was a bit taller than the average woman which helped to distinguish her from the flock. He hastened to join the cool night air, and with the attention that the guards paid him for it, he thought he was not wrong in his discerning her facial features in that glance.
Michel approached slowly as to not unnerve either her nor her entourage. He had dressed well but not over the top, a silver-hued doublet and matching bottoms, with black boots and white shirt. He wore two rings, one with his House's sigil and another a personal gift. Once he had the attention of his intended audience, he gave a bow. "Good evening, Your Royal Highness. If you are not wary of company, might I steal the honor of accompanying you about the gardens?"
