Pacing the rooms assigned her as the Archadean representative, Aneira requested that a servant locate Lady Rosalinda Sandoval and impress upon the lady the need to meet with the baroness. There were questions to be answered as soon as possible, considering that Rosalinda failed to advise her of the plot or her involvement in it. Finding out that the Sandoval lady was the linchpin in the plot to abduct Mariette placed her in an extremely delicate position, stoking the embers of her temper. Why the hell hadn't Rosalinda bothered to warn her that this was coming, or sent word after the fact so that she wouldn't have been blindsided by the news?
Did Gabriel know of this, and keep the information to himself? If so, Aneira silently wondered if this was some bizarre new test of her loyalties, or if there was a new faction in play of which she was ignorant. Regardless, Rosalinda's presence in Lindblum placed her on exceptionally thin ice. As it was, what she'd observed in Severin that afternoon compelled her to reconsider the original plan, grasping that the Crown Prince was not receptive towards releasing his hostage... and that piqued her curiosity. Just what was the real reason behind the abduction?
Waiting for Rosalinda, the baroness urged both Gwynevere and Pierre to begin their respective assignments. The information was needed all the more in the face of unforeseen circumstances, and would stand to either validate what Rosalinda relayed to her, or would expose the woman as a loose cannon, following her own personal agenda. Both made their way out of the rooms, allowing her to speak with Rosalinda in private, something entirely necessary.
