[War Room] Lywyn Newyth Castle
It was early afternoon, the young Lord had time to ponder the his morning visit with his father and other family member. The Royal Coronation came at a shock but it was hardy surprising. It was a bold political move. However, Aemrys was concerned how this move would affect the balance of power. Having a woman and the Queen of the land would be a move that might upset the Clans and other Noble Houses. Since he has been of age he has been getting involved more in political issues.
The War Room in the castle was usually empty. His father being a great diplomat solved a lot of problems with peace and negotiation rather than military force. His upbringing made him respect the process of peace but he still trained in the art of war in the event that his House might need it.
The War room was a room in the basement of the castle that was usually empty. In the middle of the room was a Round Wooden Table with pieces on the map of the Kindgom. Over the Months Aemrys took the time to place pieces in the Kingdom Map making known fortress. Even though his plan was not nearly as elaborate as the one Jean-Luc Deveraux he figured that the Marshall of the Kingdom would have been proud to see his map. They we plenty of wooden figures on the map located at specific location. For an outsider it must have looked that the young lord is playing with his wooden toys. Aemrys prayed that this room would never meet his use in war time.
The rest of the room looked fairly Spartan. They were a couple of weapons on the side of the room and a chandelier with full candle illuminating the room. You could see armor and the table filled with papers. Aemrys was spending all the time since meeting planning on the trip. He wanted to make sure things were plan and a contingency plan was also prepared in case something wrong happened.
The young lord wanted to have a plan ready to present to his father but he was struggling to the details. His family members knew that he always tried to do his best but he was still green on the matters of leading and planning. “Soo much to do”. The young lord said out loud and he was standing on front of the round table alone.
He completely missed lunch and was still focused planning. It was not hard to guess what he was doing as he was always trying too hard to impress his father and family. His stomach growl a little as he realized he was hungry.
