Kattalin Ibarra was a woman on a mission that morning. The day prior was spent in the marketplace, securing items necessary to complete the respective ensembles of her family so that the Ibarras were the epitome of fashionable nobility when they entered into the throne room for the Princess's coronation as heir. And that profoundly included her cousin Therese. All too often, Therese concealed what was a magnificent figure beneath mannish uniforms and loose-fitting tunics with loose-legged trews. While her cousin was the Marshal of Estersea, the undisputed commander of the Ibarra forces, she was still a woman... and needed to embrace that femininity.
Accordingly, she conspired with Fede to locate a gown that was ideal for Therese. She found one in the market, almost dragging Fede bodily to inspect the exotic drape of white samite with an intricate brass metal corset that was worn over the samite. Both inspected the gown, agreeing that set against Therese's dusky skin, she would look a veritable goddess. It bared a fair amount of arm and back, a daring gown without question, but one that would leave those who saw her in no doubt that Therese Ibarra was every inch a woman.
Securing the gown with its unusual bodice, Kattalin and Fede took the time to select a few accessories to accompany the gown, then conveyed all of it home to set it up for a grand reveal to Therese. Both were prepared for a fight to persuade Therese that she would don the gown, though Kattalin had her out in the form of an afternoon planned with a certain handsome Sandoval. Fede would have to face her sister alone then, if they hadn't convinced Therese. Satisfied that all was ready, she stepped out of the sitting room to call, "Therese? Would you come here, please?"
