The letter was penned as soon as Tamara had received word of the announcement however she did hold off on sending it out until after thinking on it for an evening. The request she would be making from the Crowned Princess was going to be a risk, but it in the end it may be worth it. Of course if her uncles knew what she was about to do they would be furious and even Zorion may not be pleased with her request. No matter she felt as though she could smooth out any troubles that came her way with the excuse of arrogant youth. Thus, the day after the announcement of the tournament was made she had the letter hand delivered to Crowned Princess Nicolette sealed with the family seal and the stamp of Countess Fontaine.
Tamara had hoped the Crowned Princess would be receptive to the letter, and most of all at the least intrigued by it enough so that she would be open to meeting. Her boldness so far had been paying off as the Crowned Princess had agreed to meet the young Countess in the early afternoon at the castle. Tamara wore a dress in the same shade of blue of the Fontaine family seal with the bodice brocaded with white patterned swirls, and clear gems. The skirt she wore did not have the volume that some other ladies typically wore as the sides had long slits hidden behind the curves of the fabric letting it flow freely as she walked. It was one of the dresses made of her own design with a detachable skirt, and hidden areas for weapons although she purposely left her arms with one of her men. There was no reason for the Crowned Princess to think that this had been any sort of set up for some kind of assassination attempt. The countess' long, vibrant red hair was pulled up out of her fair face with various long braided updo that kept her long tresses from falling down onto the back of her neck.
Following closely behind the servant who was leading the young woman towards what Tamara assumed to be a study the woman curtsied very low to the floor when brought into the presence of Princess Nicolette. "Your Excellency, thank you for seeing me."

To Her Royal Highness Crowned Princess Nicolette, Regent of the Kingdom of Archades,
Your Excellency,
Thank your taking the time out of your busy schedule to review this enclosed letter, and request from one of the many nobles that have crossed your path. First off I wish to congratulate you on the recent coronation. The burden you have gracefully taken on is a heavy one that so very few in the this kingdom would be capable of.
I know this may be beyond my current station to request this of you, but if you'd permit me I like to humbly request an audience with your highness when time permits in your schedule. It is unfortunate, but we have not previously had a chance to speak with one another yet I have the impression that we some things in common. As a new leader, recent head of my own family, I was hopeful I could ask some advice from someone in a similar situation to my own.
I also, have a specific question I would like to ask of you however I'd prefer to ask you it in person as words written on a page can be quite impersonal.
If you are open to meeting with me your excellency feel free to give me a date, time, and location for the appointment as I shall adjust my schedule accordingly. Thank you again for your time and consideration in this matter,
Your Loyal Subject,
Lady Fontaine, Countess of Vielha
