Much of the Court and city were in a flurry of preparations for the upcoming Tournament, set to begin in a few days. Made aware that a fresh delegation of Rohari arrived in the city, Aneira decided to take the initiative and solicit a conversation with one of their women, if she could find one and make it so. The markets were an ideal place in which to make her approach - they were relatively neutral ground, for one, and there was scarcely a woman alive who didn't desire to look over the available goods for purchase as a means of gaining knowledge in a foreign place. Like a spider, she possessed the patience to lie in wait until this very particular fly approached her web. It was, after all, one of her few virtues.
Fortune smiled upon her, ensuring she did not have to wait overly long before the exotic form drifted through the markets, flanked by a number of imposing, visibly armed males. The corners of her lips threatened to twitch at the sight of the hulking brutes - four men for one woman - as they looked around suspiciously. Small wonder, considering how utterly foreign Bordelaix must seem to the Rohari. Though she had never traveled into the denizens of the Sandmen, she'd spoken with those who had and seen sketches. Everything about Bordelaix was nothing like Zahran.
Trusting that her approach would be viewed suspiciously in turn, Aneira laughed to herself. In her defense, she was not visibly armed and surely one petite woman was hardly a match for four strapping men. Rising from where she'd been seated, she fell into step behind the woman and her guards, following discreetly as she contemplated a means of speaking to her and enticing her into conversation. With further luck, she might hit upon the one Rohari woman with an interest in life beyond the sands...
