Sisters were a wonderful thing, Maricela was glad she had two of them. "Turn around again my Bella," Cela said to her younger sister. Angelia always seemed to have business to attend to with Dante, but as for the younger girl, Isabella had all but become Maricela's doll. Cela moved around a few pins, added a couple here and there. She took her time but it wasn't long before Isabella was free to go and the dress was back on the table for further inspection.
"We'll sew it there and then embroider it along that line," the young woman said, running a fingertip down the sleeve of the dress as she rattled on the seamstresses who helped her. Cela almost always did the detailing herself, but she'd rather spend her time with her sketchbook instead of the basics and she had hired only the best of the best seamstresses she could find to do her bidding.
"Now for the other dress," She turned on her heel to approach the next task in her little project.
Now for the lovely design she was preparing as a surprise for her other sister. What she had been working on for the past three weeks were a set of dresses that matched but didn't look too matchy-matchy for the three sisters. Angelia's was finally done, or so Cela thought. It was laid across the daybed, a beautiful piece in the deep blue of their house, trimmed daintily with gold that shone brightly in the light. Cela had commissioned light metalwork into the dress, made so that the dress would be light enough to dance in and also glow richly in any ballroom. The jewelry would come next, as soon as she was sure the necklines were perfect.
A handmaiden was sent off with a note to summon Angelia to her chambers, Maricela knew her sister would only look jaw-droppingly stunning the dress.
